- Crunchy Sheets is an add-on for Google Sheets™ that applies AI to help finance teams build and maintain financial models, explain formulas, run P&L variance analyses, and build KPI dashboards using natural language commands.
- ## How does Crunchy Sheets work?
- Install the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace™, open the sidebar via Extensions → Crunchy Sheets → Open, then type any question or command in plain English. The AI reads your spreadsheet, proposes changes, and lets you preview and apply them one by one.
- ## Is my data safe with Crunchy Sheets?
- Yes. Crunchy Sheets can only access the spreadsheet you have open — never your Drive, email, or other files. Spreadsheet content is processed in real-time and discarded immediately; it is never stored or used to train AI models.
- ## What can Crunchy Sheets do?
- Crunchy Sheets can run variance analysis and identify P&L drivers, explain complex formulas in plain English, build KPI dashboards with sparklines and conditional formatting, color-code models by hardcodes vs formulas, and audit tabs for orphaned formulas and cross-reference gaps.
- ## How much does Crunchy Sheets cost?
- Crunchy Sheets is completely free during the beta period. Users are asked to share feedback in return.
- ## Does Crunchy Sheets work with Excel?
- No. Crunchy Sheets is built specifically as a Google Sheets™ add-on and requires a Google Workspace™ or personal Google account. It does not support Microsoft Excel.
